Working on the new artwork

We have gathered with our cover artist Alex Buryak to make shots for our upcoming album's artwork. It was quite an unusual thing to do - to find and keep certain pose and emotion being properly lighted.
While making photos and speaking about art with Alex, the thought came to me: each art has it's nuances, clear and dear for the artist, and each artist, being a painter, a musician, etc, etc, has a set of properly organized methods, techniques that help him to transform his thoughts and emotions to a definite piece of art. It was a real joy to hear master speaking about his craft.

I would enjoy taking a crack at making a cover...

I'm a self-taught/self-learned 3D/2D graphic artist... my skills are ***nothing*** to brag about, but it would be nice to take a stab...
(I suck at art, but I keep trying... I see a subject, a purpose, and a clear direction... the 3 things I am horrible at comming up with on my own cohesively)

maybe others would try... and who knows, you could get some awesome, free fan art... or at least we could get some wallpaper... :)

I'm a totally new person here, still trying to figure the site out... so if this is 'out of line', I apologize...

I really enjoy the artwork on the site...
(it's the only reason I made the request... I feel inspired to try something new... no disrespect intended at all; quite the opposite really)

(I got here by googl'ing oblivion theme... WOW. Shivers down my spine. Registered to download it)
