Youtube, Colin McRae: DiRT and Epinikion music

I want to share this video with you, it was made by Gor84. Though the Conqueror is not about cars and racing, the athmosphere of speed and competition perfectly fits the song's mood. At least I think so. Great work, man! It was really interesting to watch:)

Hello everybody!

Hello people! Just wandered by... saw some kick *** shtuff....

your music is deep and rocks in ways that move me...

I'm a 'wannabe' artist... little module tracking experience... tinier amount of keyboarding....

now I'm all inspired... graphically and musically....

Let's spread the word!! :D

Where can I find more on the graphic artist?

Are you planning on posting the information on the hardware and environment you did the recordings with/in?

In the very least... did you use a Mac or PC? And what software? (or what would you recommend a newbie to use??)

The sound is *quite* clear for a 'novice' job... did you get access to a major recording studio for these tracks? Or do you have maaad education and cash for the setup?

Or are you just that damn good?

I am **very** impressed regardless...

And I am quite inspired by your efforts.
(I create desktop themes as a hobby... wanna take a stab at making one for you)

Looking forward to seeing you on tour.... We need to spread the word.

Hi!

Hi everybody, im new here :p
Cool site, i really look forward to listen to all the music etc etc

Working on the new artwork

We have gathered with our cover artist Alex Buryak to make shots for our upcoming album's artwork. It was quite an unusual thing to do - to find and keep certain pose and emotion being properly lighted.
While making photos and speaking about art with Alex, the thought came to me: each art has it's nuances, clear and dear for the artist, and each artist, being a painter, a musician, etc, etc, has a set of properly organized methods, techniques that help him to transform his thoughts and emotions to a definite piece of art. It was a real joy to hear master speaking about his craft.

YouTube Discoveries

We were pointed to another effort to create Epinikion video at YouTube. Well, it looks and sounds a little strange but anyway it's a piece of work:) Thank you, Interpol0102 and good luck on your metal video way.

Ode to Fender Stratocaster

The old relic, that travelled through time to our era. It is marked by all the Great Ones, who made it sing. It absorbed the experience of several generations. It has many faces. It can be crystal clear or dark and rough. With it, you can play blues or hard rock, or even metal. You may imagine it as a brand new instrument shining with polish or as an old veteran marked with numerous cleavages and scratches.
While being so famous and associated with hundreds of names, this guitar will never prevent you from having your own style and sound.
For me it is the most noble instrument, some sort of vessel that gathers your life experience and musical powers, drop by drop, each time you touch it.
When I first met the Stratocaster that was to become mine later, I had no idea that it's love The old quirky guitar master sold this white '96 strat to me several months later and I'll never sell it to anyone else. I keep it by me when I work or sleep, when I watch tv or read a book. It brings me inspiration and joy.
You'll definitely hear it in our future records - it will speak to you with the softest vibes of clean chords and sharp biting arpeggios.

Cover Artist

So today was our meeting with Alex. A cup of coffee and dozens of interesting ideas. He brought some awesome sketches with him to discuss and now I can say that the new conception of Epinikion is becoming more and more real. We'll reveal some of these pictures soon in our gallery as well as some completely new stuff. We didn't decide yet but it seems that the artwork for Epinikion II will be made with real brushes and real canvas - not with software like before. I think it would be interesting experience.

And let me reveal one more secret. Epinikion Power Metal Comics are coming soon!

Epinikion Blogs

This amazing metal performance was found today on youtube by my friend, known here as Enchanter. I think it's epic enough to be in the first entry of our Epinikion blogs :)

By the way from now every registered guild member can start one and share thoughts about... power metal for example?

We'll be very grateful if you use it and point us to the ways how to improve the blogs.

The best entries will be shown at our main page, I promise.
